Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring for the Marketing and Development Coordinator role at our corporate campus in Canton, Ohio.

This role helps lead agency initiatives and provides senior-level support to the Marketing and Fund Development Department and other departments as needed. The Marketing and Development Coordinator will support all marketing and development initiatives, including retail and donor marketing, grand openings, fundraisers, and communications with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include project management, preparing reports, donor tracking, correspondence with donors, and special event coordination.

Essential Functions:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Contributes to event planning, coordination, and implementation. Events may include fundraisers, awareness events, community engagement events, and grand opening events.
• Assists the Manager of Fund Development and Community Relations with donor correspondence, tracking, engagement, and other initiatives.
• Assist in creating, producing, and distributing internal communication (retail signage, marketing collateral, memos, employee newsletter, agency forms, etc.).
• Oversee the financial donor information and maintain donor database/software for fund development and communication needs.
• Serves as the primary contact for external customer service inquiries for the agency.
• Coordinates the daily office operations of the marketing department and maintains retail store signage inventory.
• Responsible for coordinating activities related to the Goodwill Book Works program, including coordinating volunteers, special events, and program promotion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred; relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have a valid driver's license and automotive insurance. Must regularly provide the agency with proof of valid automotive insurance.
